How we can help
At ICADS we offer a menu of treatment and recovery options which enable us to tailor support to people’s individual needs. These include:
- group work
- psychology and access to specialist mental health support
- education, training and employment support
- a range of creative social activities and mutual aid groups
We also work with families and friends of people who are using drugs, ensuring they get the support they need too.
We have services across the borough and you will be seen as close to home as possible. When you contact our services you will receive a warm welcome from our staff, peer mentors and volunteers.
You will meet with a specialist practitioner to discuss your needs and explore the impact that drugs may be having on your life. After a collaborative assessment, you will be allocated to a practitioner at the service best suited to meet your needs.
You will work with your practitioner to develop a tailored Recovery Care Plan to help you progress towards your goals, which might mean a reduction in drug use, stabilisation, total abstinence from drugs or relapse prevention support.
